Position Title: Entry Level Police Dispatcher
Salary Information: $51,384 (Non-Certified) to $70,170.60 (Certified)

Go to the National Testing Network
Select Emergency Communications (job class) and Oregon (state). Then Select Cottage Grove Police Department.
Complete Required Testing (ECOMM Emergency Communications Testing & NTN Typing Test)
Email Completed City of Cottage Grove Application and Resume to the Cottage Grove HR
Applicants who complete and pass the above required steps, will be invited to an interview
Lateral Applicants (certified):

Academy Certification:
If selected for the position, applicant will be required to attend and complete the DPSST Telecommunications Academy.
Prior Experience:
Preferred experience: Customer Service, Multi-tasking, Computer.
Hiring Process:
Applicants are required to complete required testing through NTN, email completed application and resume to the Cottage Grove HR. If applicant passing testing and submits required documents, they will be invited to interview. If selected for position, applicant will complete a full background and post conditional medical and psychological evaluation.
