Key Responsibilities:

• Access Control & Perimeter Security: Maintain and enforce secure access points, restricted areas, and venue perimeters to prevent unauthorized entry and security breaches.
• Crowd Management: Oversee large gatherings, events, and high-traffic locations , ensuring safe movement and compliance with security protocols while identifying and mitigating potential disturbances.
•   Incident Response & Emergency Coordination: React swiftly to security breaches, medical emergencies, and threats , assisting in evacuations, coordinating with law enforcement , and ensuring a calm, organized response.
• Surveillance & Threat Detection: Monitor surroundings for suspicious activity, unauthorized access, or emerging threats , providing discreet close protection for clients while taking proactive security measures.
• Advance Work & Secure Transportation: Conduct site reconnaissance, venue security planning, and route assessments , ensuring safe client travel and adaptability to changing security conditions .
• Collaboration with Law Enforcement & Stakeholders: Work closely with police, emergency responders, venue staff, and private security teams to ensure a coordinated and effective response to potential risks.
• Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive client information with discretion , upholding the highest standards of professionalism and operational security in all interactions.
• Team Coordination & Operational Support: Work in tactical alignment with security teams , supporting operational objectives, responding to real-time threats, and ensuring seamless security coverage.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience : Minimum of 3+ years in relevant military, law enforcement, executive protection, or personal security roles.
• Certifications :
  • BSIS Guard Card
  • Appropriate Use of Force 
  • Powers to Arrest Certification
  • First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification for Adults, Children, and Infants
• Advanced Certifications : Preferred certifications in executive protection.
• Risk and Threat Management : Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat mitigation, defensive tactics, and situational awareness to proactively identify and mitigate risks.
• Conflict Resolution and De-escalation : Proven proficiency in conflict resolution, de-escalation techniques, and emergency response, with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence and maintaining composure under pressure.
•   Physical and Mental Readiness : High physical fitness, mental resilience, and the ability to make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
• Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication for transparent reporting and effective interaction with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
• Reporting Proficiency : Demonstrated skill in creating thorough, accurate reports to document incidents, observations, and activities that support client needs.
• Professionalism and Integrity : Impeccable discretion, confidentiality, and integrity when handling sensitive information and working with high-profile clients.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Knowledge of Local Laws and Regulations : Comprehensive understanding of California laws governing private security and firearms use, ensuring compliance in all operations.
• Prior Law Enforcement and/or Military Experience : Extensive background in law enforcement or military service, providing a solid foundation in security protocols, tactical operations, and disciplined conduct.
• Advanced Training : Proficiency in advanced work, defensive driving, and emergency medical response, including certifications such as Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) or Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) for handling on-site medical emergencies.
• Emotional Intelligence : Ability to remain composed, empathetic, and effective in high-stress situations, maintaining clear and professional communication with clients, families, and team members.
• Cultural Sensitivity : Awareness and respect for different cultural backgrounds, ensuring all interactions are appropriate, professional, and respectful.
• Technological Proficiency : Skilled in using security technologies such as surveillance systems, sensors, alarms, and communication tools to enhance protection and situational awareness.
• Adaptability : Flexibility to adjust to unpredictable schedules, changing environments, and unexpected events while maintaining consistent performance and readiness.
• Conflict Resolution Skills : Ability to calmly and effectively de-escalate tense situations, minimizing risk and ensuring safety and professionalism.
• Discretion and Confidentiality : Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive personal, family, or client information.
• Environmental Awareness : Thorough understanding of property layouts, potential vulnerabilities, and surroundings to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
