Job Description

Wilson's Refrigeration & Air has an immediate opening for an experienced Bookkeeper who will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. They perform daily accounting tasks such as but not limited to monthly financial reporting, general ledger entries, entering bills/invoices and coding correctly, paying bills in a timely manner, and recording payments and adjustments. This position must be able to maintain the separate books for our Pomaria & Columbia offices. This position requires weekly travel between the two locations .

Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional overtime as needed & approved by management

Pay Scale: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience + Benefits

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
• Must have experience managing multiple books at a time
• General ledger and coding experience
• Accounts payable and accounts receivable experience
• Invoicing and billing experience
• Bank and account reconciliation experience
• Financial reporting and monthly closing experience
• Budgets analysis and forecasting experience
• Understanding of P&L with classes
• Payroll taxes (federal and state) understanding
• Payroll, including deductions, 401k, and commissions
• Advanced computer skills
• Proficiency in working with QuickBooks Enterprise and QuickBooks Online
• Advanced skillset with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Time management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Well-organized and able to work independently
• Impeccable customer service skills
• Pass a background check, drug screening, and credit check

Qualifications desired:

• AS degree or bachelor's degree in accounting or 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with QuickBooks Enterprise and working knowledge of QuickBooks Online
• HVAC or Construction or similar industry experience
