As a Housekeeping Supervisor , you will oversee the daily housekeeping operations to ensure our guests enjoy clean, safe, and comfortable environments. You will be responsible for supervising, training, and motivating housekeeping staff, maintaining cleanliness standards, and assisting in inventory and supplies management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of housekeepers to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
- Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure they meet cleanliness standards.
- Ensure proper handling and use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Train and mentor housekeeping staff on best practices, cleanliness protocols, and safety standards.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering cleaning supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and efficient operations.
- Handle guest requests or complaints with professionalism and a focus on resolution.
- Report maintenance issues or safety concerns to the appropriate departments.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a supervisory role (hotel experience is a plus).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as required.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
