Pay Rate/Range: $15-17/hr
Description: Entry level legal assistant provides support to lawyers and helps ensure the smooth operation of a legal office. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Administrative Support: Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage calendars.
Document Preparation: Draft, proofread, and format legal documents and correspondence.
Filing and Organization: Organize case files, maintain records, and manage filing systems (physical and electronic).
Research: Conduct basic legal research and gather information as needed.
Client Communication: Assist with client intake and respond to routine inquiries.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with attorneys and other staff to complete tasks.
Job Requirements: Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and basic computer proficiency. Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Shift/Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 8:30a-5:00p and Friday, 8:30a-12:00p
