Job Description

Seeking local painter with 5 years experience (~minimum) and has own tools and transportation. This opportunity is to establish a long-term 1099 subcontractor relationship for work I will secure over time in Westchester County. I will be providing the materials (paint and sundries).

You should already have a fully licensed, insured, Workers Comp holding (or exemption) business set up for yourself. Applicants without all these criteria - please DO NOT APPLY. This includes equipment and hardware (rollers, brushes, ladders, drop clothes, etc). Bonus if you manage people and have a painting crew of 2-3+ of your own. Should be willing to undergo a basic background check and come out clean. All Painters that meet the below criteria are encouraged to apply.  All applicants will be vetted personally by the job poster .

SKILLS - INTERIOR:

• Ceiling, Trim, Door, Popcorn Ceiling Removal, Cabinet Painting/Finishing, Stairwell, Wallpaper application and removal

SKILLS - EXTERIOR:

• Power Washing and painting Decks, Fences, Garage Doors. Exterior Wall painting of common building materials.

SKILLS - BONUS: COMMERCIAL

• Metal Roofs, Wrought Iron, Dry Fall, Spray Booth, Pro Coat

LICENSES:

• Westchester County Contractor Licensed
• OSHA trained
• EPA LEAD certified

PAY RATE:

• Work is paid out on a project basis though will be on average ~$35/h.
