As a Locum Anesthesiologist Assistant, you will be responsible for providing anesthesia care under the supervision of an anesthesiologist. You will play a key role in ensuring patient safety and comfort during surgical procedures. 

Responsibilities

• Assist anesthesiologists in administering anesthesia care
• Monitor patients' vital signs and anesthesia levels during procedures
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care to patients
• Ensure compliance with safety and medical protocols
• Collaborate with surgical teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated
• Contribute to a positive team environment and patient experience

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Anesthesia or related field
• Current certification as an Anesthesiologist Assistant
• Experience in a clinical anesthesia setting
• Strong understanding of anesthesia techniques and medications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety protocols

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 2 weeks per month

Anesthetizing Sites: 12 at main hospital, 4 at one surgery center, and 1-2 at second surgery center

General case types, no OB or CV

1:4 medical supervision

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
