Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Model Integration Trainee to support integration workflows, custom application connectivity, and model-to-system data flows across the enterprise. This entry-level role is designed for individuals who want to build a career in system integration, data pipelines, API-based workflows, and enterprise application connectivity.

You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to learn how integrations are designed, implemented, tested, and maintained, especially within SAP environments and related enterprise systems.

Note: Prior exposure to integration concepts or SAP technologies is a plus, but not mandatory for a trainee role.

• Assist senior engineers in building and testing simple integrations between internal systems, APIs, and model environments.

• Support basic configuration tasks on integration tools and platforms.

• Learn how to work with integration patterns such as REST, SOAP, messaging queues, or ETL flows.

• Help document the connectivity requirements between models, custom applications, and enterprise systems (ERP/CRM/Data platforms).

• Support testing of APIs, data movement, and transformation logic.

• Assist in validating data integrity, accuracy, and integration performance.

• Prepare and update documentation related to integration workflows, API details, and data mappings.

• Maintain logs, test cases, and configuration notes under guidance.

• Work jointly with business analysts, senior engineers, and cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements.

• Participate in meetings to take notes and understand how business needs are translated into technical tasks.

• Support project planning activities such as task tracking, basic effort estimation, and reporting status updates.

You will receive training in:

• SAP BTP integration concepts

• API management basics

• Integration tools (API gateways, ETL tools, queues)

• Best practices in secure and scalable integration design

• Version control, code repositories, and deployment basics

• CI/CD fundamentals and DevOps workflows

• Interest in application integration, APIs, and model connectivity.

• Basic understanding of programming (Java, Python, or any scripting language is a plus).

• Curiosity about cloud platforms, enterprise systems, and integration technologies.

• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

• Eager to learn from senior engineers and grow into an integration specialist.

• Familiarity with SAP or SAP BTP concepts

• Basic SQL knowledge

• Understanding of REST APIs or JSON/XML

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)

• Any experience with integration tools or automation platforms
