Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support full-cycle payroll operations for a multi-state employee base. This position is hybrid, with three days onsite in Sherman Oaks and two days remote. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance, and reporting using ADP WFN, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process end-to-end payroll for a portion of 1,300+ employees.
• Accurately prepare and post payroll journal entries.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Manage wage garnishments, deductions, adjustments, and direct deposits.
• Handle payroll inquiries from employees professionally and efficiently.
• Support internal/external audits by providing payroll data and documentation.
• Generate payroll reports and perform reconciliations.
• Use Excel to create pivot tables and analyze payroll data.

Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1�2 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience.
• Experience using ADP Workforce Now (WFN) .
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and formulas.
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

• Healthcare industry experience is a major plus.
