Role: React (GoLang) Developer

Duration: 6 Months + Possible Ext

Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid) Need Local Only

Position Summary:

• Our technology teams build and maintain critical systems of record that underpin key business operations. We are seeking a skilled Application Developer with expertise in React and GoLang to join our dynamic development team.
• As an Application Developer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure web applications using React on the front end and GoLang on the back end. You will work on multiple systems of record that support essential financial services, ensuring high availability, data integrity, and seamless user experiences. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, and QA will be key to delivering impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end applications using React, ensuring responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
• Build robust, efficient, and scalable back-end services using GoLang.
• Integrate front-end components with back-end APIs and data sources.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Ensure applications meet security standards and compliance regulations relevant to the financial industry.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
• Perform code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with a proactive approach.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience developing front-end applications using React.js and related technologies (Redux, Hooks, TypeScript preferred).
• Strong proficiency in GoLang for back-end development, including building APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with RESTful API design, JSON, and integration patterns.
• Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Understanding of security principles and compliance in financial applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Prior experience in financial services or systems of record is highly desirable.
