We're Hiring: Part-Time Junior or Mid-Level Animator (Remote)

We're looking for a junior or mid-level character animator with a strong sense of motion and an eye for nuance. This is a part-time role for someone young, ambitious, and willing to learn by doing—someone excited to help run an animation department guerrilla-style within a small indie team working on horror and narrative-heavy projects.

We're currently developing a dark, story-driven horror game set in a 1920s French vineyard haunted by supernatural forces. The game blends narrative exploration with intense moments of survival, ritualistic horror, and character-driven storytelling. Most animations will involve human characters—servants, nobles, and victims—brought to life through a mix of AI mocap tools and hand-polished keyframe work. Think eerie atmosphere, expressive body language, and unsettling rituals, all delivered with cinematic flair.

We’re Looking For a person who has:

• Ability to animate characters using motion capture-style workflows, including AI-assisted methods
• Familiarity or strong interest in AI animation tools such as Move.ai or RADiCAL
• Basic understanding of animation  retargeting , especially to custom rigs (preferably in Blender)
• Comfortable working in  Blender  and/or  Cascadeur  to refine and polish animations
• Passion for expressive character animation and storytelling through movement
• A  proactive mindset —you take initiative and aren’t afraid to figure things out
• A  problem solver  who enjoys finding creative solutions and improving workflows
• Genuine passion for animation, game development, and being part of a small indie team

This is a  fully remote  position with  flexible work hours , ideal for someone who thrives with autonomy and responsibility. You'll have the chance to take ownership of the animation pipeline.
