Addison Group, in partnership with our client in the entertainment industry seeks a Senior Accountant in Irvine, CA to join their team.

Compensation/Benefits �� Salary range can increase up to $110,000/year depending on qualifications. Our client supplements base compensation with health and wellness benefits.

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform month-end close tasks, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and cost center analysis
• Support month-end close processes for international subsidiaries
• Manage accruals, fixed assets, and other assigned accounts
• Assist in developing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures
• Collaborate with third-party accounting firms and internal departments to ensure accurate reporting
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implemented changes to enhance efficiency
• Prepare documentation for external audit requests
• Assist with monthly sales and use tax filings
• Contribute to special projects, data analysis, and reporting for management

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Bachelors� Degree in Accounting
• Minimum of 5 years� experience in accounting
• Ability to organize time and tasks efficiently with minimal supervision
• Strong oral and written communication skills
