We're looking for a Senior Electrical Designer / BIM Lead who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our client's business. You'll thrive as you perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems for our client's advanced facilities. This is a hybrid position in Pittsburgh, PA however, well qualified candidates located in the U.S will also be considered. Our Electrical Designers are responsible for the delivery of complex packages in coordination with engineers and design leads and form the core of our electrical delivery team. Utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP, you'll create a 3D model space in coordination with architects and engineers. From those 3D BIM models, you'll design layouts, single-lines, power plans, installation details, grounding plans, cable schedules, and much more will be created. You will also help with the clash detection side of projects and identify type of clashes, identify package owners, review clash report numbers, and speak to them during internal meetings as needed. In addition, you will perform power calculations, apply the NEC and other standards to model content at direction of the engineering staff.
