Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tax Preparer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation and be proficient in using various tax software. You will work closely with our in-house CPA to prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Responsibilities include: + Prepare tax returns for individuals and small businesses, including federal & state filings, Schedule C and E, and investment reporting under the review of an in-house CPA. + Support clients by requesting and organizing relevant financial documents. + Analyze IRS transcripts to identify compliance concerns. + Collaborate with sales and resolution teams to assist with client inquiries and issues. + Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance standards Qualifications: + 2+ years of experience with individual tax preparation + Active registration with CTEC + Possession of a valid Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) + Experience using tax preparation software such as Lacerte, ProSeries, and ProSytems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
